People Pattern is excited to unveil our Portrait Database (PDB). Machine learning techniques were used to give structure to billions of unstructured documents such as Tweets, Facebook wall comments, Instagram posts, blog posts and customer reviews. The PDB answers the desires of marketers and researchers, who have been looking for a structured database of individual records (aka portraits) with demographic, interest and persona attributes sourced from social data.

  •  Over 200 Million Portraits | People Pattern has compiled over 200 million portraits (and growing) that have a multitude of attributes available to help you define the audience that you are looking for. For example, say your brand wants to align with the fitness-centric locals in Texas. You first need to find these people and then need to understand who they are and what they enjoy about life. The PDB has the information you need to find fitness-centric Texans quickly and with confidence. The PDB takes the majority of the legwork out of the discovery and identification process, allowing you to focus on analyzing and accurately acting on your audience. You will be armed with the relevant information needed for informed initiatives: personalize paid campaigns with content and brands your audience discusses; identify influencers to reach out to based on those that align with your brand values and messages; or find potential customers that your brand hadn’t yet identified. 
  •  A Suite of Machine-Learned Classifier Filters | In the PDB, you have access to over a dozen filters pertaining to portrait demographics, psychographics and behaviors specific to an individual. These attributes are extracted and predicted from social profiles using our proprietary algorithms and classifiers, which are based on state-of-the-art machine learning and natural language processing techniques.This gives you the opportunity to compile high-value audiences on which you can analyze and act. 
  •  Geolocation Spanning 7 Continents | Find geolocated audiences, no matter where they are. As communication strategies focus more on hyper-local initiatives, the PDB offers the opportunity to find audiences in locations more efficiently than other search techniques. People Pattern provides geolocation for a portrait through one of two methodologies: 1) a stated location from a portrait’s social account(s), or 2) prediction based on a proprietary algorithm, taking locations of the portrait’s connections into consideration. The highly accurate predictive geolocation algorithm widens the audience for a given area. This allows you to find people you might not have been previously aware of, ultimately helping guide your localized marketing efforts.
  •  Multi-Lingual Search | Do not let finding audiences within languages other than English limit your data-driven efforts. People Pattern has multiple languages recorded across our portraits, along with multi-lingual interest analysis capabilities so that you can speak to your audience in a voice that will provide an optimum connection.

  •  New to People Pattern? Explore the PDB with our preview version Discover Page. The tool currently provides the capability to filter the PDB by searching gender, specific profile terms and locations. So, for example, you can use the tool to find people, located in Texas, that mention “Data Scientist” in their profile description and download the results immediately.   •  Already a client? PDB access is available on the platform today. Visit the Sources tab in your projects to find our Portrait Search (beta) feed. With the initial set of 16 filter types, you have the ability to search for an audience based on account type, gender, interest, location and more. You can then use other application features to analyze the portraits and posts, create more refined segments and uncover unique insights that lead to tailored, familiar communication with each potential customer.
