“Keep Austin Weird”–the mantra reflects a deep pride that the folks down in Austin hold for the quirks that have turned the city into a hotbed for innovation, culture and creativity. SXSW has become a quintessential representation of the city’s eccentricities, manifested in a weeklong celebration of technology, film and music. As this year’s conference and festival come to a wrap, attendees will leave the city and the countdown will begin for SXSW 2016.
On Saturday, March 14th, People Pattern hosted folks from around the world at a local spot that epitomizes Austin’s weirdness. Around 6pm, guests gathered in the hallowed halls of Franklin Barbecue, queuing up to fill plates high with expertly smoked brisket, pulled pork and ribs. Shiner beer flowed while conversations ranged from Interactive panels, to the handy velcro wallets that everyone took home.
A huge thanks to all who joined People Pattern in celebrating SXSW interactive 2015 at Franklin Barbecue.
It was a pleasure seeing y’all this year. Here’s to ponying up for seconds in 2016!
